SpiceJet introduces daily direct Mumbai-Bangkok flight

Jaipur, April 5, 2019: SpiceJet, the country’s favourite carrier, today introduced a daily direct flight connecting Mumbai with the Thai capital city, Bangkok. The airline also introduced six domestic flights connecting Mumbai with Kolkata, Chennai and Varanasi. The international flight to Bangkok will start from 17th May, 2019 while the domestic flights are effective 18th April, 2019.

SpiceJet is the first and only Indian budget carrier to introduce a daily direct flight between Mumbai-Bangkok-Mumbai. Bangkok is one of the most preferred international destinations for Indian tourists.

The additional frequencies introduced on the Mumbai-Kolkata-Mumbai (3rd frequency), Mumbai-Chennai-Mumbai (3rd frequency) and Mumbai-Varanasi-Mumbai (2nd frequency) sectors will be operational daily and the airline will deploy its Boeing 737 NG aircraft on both the international as well as domestic routes.

Bangkok is the second international destination after Dubai that SpiceJet will be connecting with a direct flight from Mumbai. The airline already operates non-stop flights from Bangkok to Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Delhi and Kolkata.

SpiceJet has also introduced a new daily UDAN flight between Hyderabad and Kishangarh effective 25th April 2019.  The flight from Hyderabad will depart at 6:25 am and reach Kishangarh at 8:35 am and on its return journey will depart from Kishangarh at 8:55 am to reach Hyderabad at 11:05 am. The airline is celebrating the launch with a starting one way fare of Rs 3701/-. The airline will deploy the Bombardier Q 400 90-seater aircraft on this sector. Kishangarh, which was first connected with Delhi and then with Ahmedabad by SpiceJet, will now be connected to Hyderabad.

SpiceMax

SpiceJet’s Boeing 737 fleet offers 36 SpiceMax seats while the Bombardier Q400 fleet offers four SpiceMax seats. The product can be purchased by selecting a SpiceMax seat on the seat map at the time of booking, at any time after booking using the “Manage My Booking” option, or during web or airport check-in (based on availability).

Customers opting for a SpiceMax seat also get to enjoy a complimentary meal and beverage, priority check-in, boarding and baggage delivery and access to dedicated SpiceMax counters at major airports. On international flights, SpiceMax customers are offered a welcome drink and towel, four way adjustable head rest with a pillow and blanket. These offerings enhance the flying experience at a very modest add on fee, which is very pocket friendly for the host of benefits.
